Can it be done? A performance thruster that excels in small to medium size surf and can also be switched up and ridden as a legitimate performance twin fin?

Well yeh. This is it.

A complete one-off. A board we can let loose on. It paddles like a dream, surfs slop, surfs chop and works as a good wave board too!

The twin fin setup gives you the expression and loose feeling to really feel
the rail line through carves and turns. The added injection of speed through turns with the freedom of no centre fin instantly adds style to your surfing game.

Or if  the conditions are onshore and far from ideal and you want to concentrate on getting the most out of the waves or fancy practicing your air game, then click in the thruster fin setup, giving you more vertical performance, shortboard forgiveness and control.

With a full outline, a
pulled in swallow tail, single to double concave throughout the bottom and turned down, fine tuned 60/40 rails and plenty of foam through the foil, the ADPT can handle performance surfing or novel expression when the waves aren’t great.

Alan says: "I always look for the most I can get from a board in the waves I surf. Twin fins are super fast but I'm not going to surf a massive blocky twinny just to slide about and wish I had more hold. I want something that keeps that speed and harnesses it through turns. So a performance fish is the perfect template.

But why not as a twin? It makes no sense to me to not have a twinny as an option in this type of template, they are amazing boards to really feel the pace of the wave under your feet.

To really get to know the board, you can put the thruster set in and really push it to it's limits, it just works perfectly for times when the banks aren’t great or the winds up a bit and a twin fin gets tricky to really lean on.

But when you want to feel that freedom on rail and unrivalled speed then get the
twin fin out the bag and go nuts!!! This is the board I am most proud of in the FORM range because for me it encapsulates performance and style in one design, allowing for greater individual wave riding expression.
